Diablo Halloween Event - Overwatch 2

I had the pleasure of being the map artist for the new Diablo Halloween Event, Trials of Sanctuary!
I reworked the Diablo portion of the Blizzard World map for the new event map. This included doing the set dressing and working on a new Diablo themed modular kit (the kit blockout was by Thomas Mountfort) for creating the new areas like the cathedral room in the back. Also made new side rooms and blocked off unused areas, spun off all the pre-existing architectural assets to make variations for this game mode, reworked the exterior courtyard area including new set dressing / lighting and made a new cathedral tower model for the exterior roof, made a new interior ground grate model for where the pit used to be, and drew a cat illustration to add it in as a framed painting. This map was a lot of fun to work on!

Last year's Halloween event had Buster the dog in a framed portrait, so to fit the darker theme for this event I illustrated my best friend's cat, Claudia!
