Environment Artist - Certain Affinity | Austin, TX (April 2017 - Present)
  • Currently working as an Environment Artist on an unannounced project.
  • Worked on new remastered HD maps for World of Tanks (Live Oaks and Tundra). Also worked on the Halloween 2017 event map "Leviathan's Invasion."
  • Creating realistic 3D props, large assets, and modular kits based on photo reference and my own designs. Take assets from idea stage to the final in-game asset. Also work with level designers to create assets for their needs.
  • World-building with the propriety map editor and tools. Includes set dressing, terrain painting, vegetation/decal placement, and map iteration based on feedback.
  • Frequently play-test the game with co-workers and provide feedback for the maps and gameplay.

Environment Artist - BioWare (Electronic Arts) | Austin, TX (April 2016 - April 2017)
  • Worked as an Environment Artist on Star Wars: The Old Republic expansions Knights of the Fallen Empire and Knights of the Eternal Throne.
  • Set dressing, level layout, and world-building, including terrain/flora creation, lighting, and post-processing.
  • Modular asset and texture creation, and prop/level optimization.
  • Worked closely with level designers and cinematic artists on environments to meet their needs for gameplay and camera shots. 
  • Provided in-depth feedback from frequent play-testing, and did bug fixing.
  • Worked with external outsourcers in creating high-quality assets for the game that fit our style.
  • Created illustrated concepts for various vehicles and props.

3D Artist & Texture Artist - Neko Productions | San Diego, CA (August 2015 – April 2016)
  • Painted textures based on concepts and made 3D model/UV fixes for characters in Marvel's Avengers Academy game.
  • Worked together with a team and made changes based on iterative feedback from the client (TinyCo).
  • Met daily and weekly deadlines based on the client's needs.

Game Art & Design Student - Ringling College of Art and Design | Sarasota, FL (2010 – 2014)
  • Collaborated with teams of students to design and develop assets and 3D environments of professional level standards. Iterated based on critique, while working under strict deadlines. Created quality concept art of environments and characters with Photoshop and PaintTool Sai.
  • Utilized UDK, Maya, Zbrush, and xNormal to create low poly assets and modular construction kits.
  • Developed concept art, pitched, created, and directed a cinematic game trailer and playable game demo in UDK with a partner over the course of 16 months.

    • Illustrated and animated characters and props in Adobe Flash for interactive storybooks for the iPad.
